Tournament Rules
1. No food or coolers brought in, full concessions will be on-site. (This tournament is a fundraiser for our club.)
2. In the event of inclement weather, the Tournament Director reserves the right to modify game times and durations. All decisions are subject to the Tournament Director’s and/or the Umpire-In Chief’s discretion.
3. Players are not allowed to wear jewelry.
4. Each COACH is to set a GOOD EXAMPLE FOR PLAYERS AND SPECTATORS!
5. All protests will be settled on the field. Umpire decisions are final.
6. Coaches must check in near the concession area a minimum of 45 minutes prior to their first game.
7. Courtesy runners are allowed for catchers and pitchers.
8. Runners can only score on a batted ball, or when forced home by a walk/hit batter, or a defensive interference, or when going to 3rd when the ball goes out of play. Runners can NOT advance home on a dropped 3rd strike with the bases loaded. In that situation, the batter is out.
9. If a game is tied after 50 minutes, the game will be decided by the International tie breaking method. Each team starts the new inning with a runner on second base. The inning is then completed with 3 outs or 5 runs, and then the opposing team gets their opportunity starting with a runner on 2nd base.
10. Batter takes the base if hit by a pitch, but MUST make an effort to get out of the way of the ball. THIS IS UP TO THE DISCRETION OF THE UMPIRE!!
11. Defensive coaches are not allowed on the field unless needing to speak to their pitchers.
12. Batting Helmets MUST contain a face mask – Mandatory (NOCSAE).

1. Games time limit is 60 minutes (no new inning after 60 minutes).
2. May not wear metal spikes
3. Pitching distance is 40’
4. 5 run limit per inning.
5. Run rule: 15 runs after 3 innings.
6. Round robin batting and free substitution on defense is mandatory.
7. No player may sit for more than two consecutive innings.
8. Defense may play four (4) outfielders.
9. Batters may attempt to advance to first base on a dropped 3rd strike.
10. **Stealing**
a. Batter may not attempt to advance to second base on a walk.
b. Base runners may only steal one base per pitch.
c. Base runners may not steal home.

10U Rules

5. Run rule: 10 runs after 5 innings
6. Round robin batting and free substitution on defense is mandatory.
7. No player may sit for more than two consecutive innings
8. Defense may play four (4) outfielders
9. The infield fly rule will not be enforced.
10. Batters cannot walk, however, batters can strike out.
11. A pitcher will pitch a maximum of five pitches ruled balls to the batter.
After ball five the coach will step in to pitch. The pitcher will then resume
with the next batter.
12. When the coach steps in to pitch the pitcher must remain within the
pitching circle.
13. Outfielders must play at least 10’ beyond the baseline.
